About Me

Miriam - Pastry Chef

I started baking with my mother and grandmother, it was a big part of my childhood. I always found joy and laughter in those moments and it inspired me to continue my journey in baking. When I was in high school I began making cakes and I realized that baking was something I wanted to pursue as a career.

 

I applied and was accepted to the Baking & Pastry program at the Culinary Institute of America. I enjoyed my time there tremendously, and I'm so grateful to have had many amazing Chefs and mentors that taught me everything I know. I learned that not only do I enjoy making cakes, but bread, pastries and so much more as well. I graduated in August of 2022 with an Associates in Baking & Pastry Arts.

 

I moved to Minnesota to pursue my career. I had some amazing opportunities working as a Baker for other businesses and have now decided to open my own bakery. I plan on opening a Brick and Mortar in the future, but for now I am excited to begin this journey. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me!
